The Dark Goddess has been rising for some time now. Urging us to listen to her words of wisdom as we work to navigate an ever-changing world. Finding statues or other depictions to help us connect with those who are lesser known can be a challenge. Sometimes we want to have something we can physically hold in our hands to soak up the wisdom she bestows upon us. The solution? Working poppets! In this workshop, we will create a poppet for the Dark Goddess of your choosing, I will provide the necessary materials but feel free to bring charms and talismans to add if you like. I will have a few charms available to adorn Medusa poppets. Once we create our new poppet, we will use a Singing Bowl and chanting to bring our Goddess to life. She of the shadow has been maligned and misunderstood for far too long. It is up to us to give them their stories back. To remove the skewed slant with which they have been painted for far too long. The most profound of healing is found in the deepest of places. A working poppet is just one of a myriad of ways to find our truths. To live as our authentic selves.
